This was amazing!,
How on earth does everyone pay for that sort of education? I’d be in mountains of debt if I pursued anything in high education. Just getting a general associate put me 10K in the hole and I’ve gotten fired from higher paying positions so I’m afraid to keep dealing with that with rent and debt to actually pay alone you know?
Extremely interesting and informative.
Can i be a fashion marketer with a fashion degree?
Would love to hear more about your experience in the PhD. In the U.S. grad students typically come out pretty traumatized from the experience. Was your program funded and how was your relationship with your advisor?
Completely forgot this was in my watch later ! I studied fashion promotion at university for creative arts in Kent. I always knew since I was 9 that I was wanted to work in fashion but always the business side of things. I had some personal trauma so I didn’t get my full degree just a higher diploma. 10 years after leaving I worked at the daily telegraph and Bose head office doing admin jobs and last week I started at ASOS as a merchandising admin assistant. I’m 31 and probably should of done this job 10 years ago! But wanted to take a chance and actually forge a career rather than dead end admin jobs
I really like your job. I love fashion with my life can you be my teacher please im from south Africa and show me the right way to go about it please
From where did you do your Phd? College?
thankyou, please can you do more videos on how to know what job to go into after college?
I just finished my Ba in Marketing and am now an intern at Tchibo. However i still dont know where to go next, I hope I will figure it out in the near future
Hearing your story about your studying and choices for subjects literally sounds like my story haha 🥰
Pcp😂 I’m studying the industry of fashion before I hop in. Thank you for the information you provided. Subscribed👍🏼
Did u do your phd from university of Manchester
I really respect any one with a PhD, it is so much work. I’m a retired environmental geologist, a career I loved, but I sometimes think about getting trained as a stylist. Not to work, just for my own information and pleasure. I just love clothes and styling them, I always have. Do ypu have any recommendations for good, online training (US)?
Thank you
So smart and cool! What successful and inspirational woman ❤️
is there a way to get a fashion job as a teen?

Mam can I start my own fashion label with a degree in fashion communication
I am a psychology major but I am interested in the fashion and makeup industry. I was thinking of getting a masters in mass communication but I didn't't know about fashion communication… that sounds so FUN!
Your book is in my local library in Australia!
Just when I was so confused if I should go the MBA route or Masters (Research in Fashion Marketing ) . This is the best 🙏🏻 now I feel confident in going the the research route.
this was super insightful thank you for going in depth! ❤️
love this… i really want to do a fashion business major but i was kinda worried about the jobs and my social anxiety…. i never had social anxiety i recently developed it and its like lately i don't like talking to people …. and like the fact that i need to talk to people or like interact and socialize to boost my marketing and all sounds scary but it is what it is and u gave such great advice…. i also plan on getting a PhD one day i.a but am glad i found this video….. i hope and pray i can reach that level
Is fashion marketing and fashion communication the same thing ? It would be really helpful if u can clear my doubt
I felt the way you described marketing was a bit misleading as there is way more to it than just advertisement and creativity. In marketing you also need be able to detect business opportunities and you also deal with a lot of numbers, so you need to have strong analytical skills and not just creativity.
