There’s a fi:af Bastille Day celebration on E60th today by Bloomingdale’s from Noon to 5PM. That area is like Little France.

In my opinion, Saks doesn’t even compare to Harrods and Selfridges as Saks doesn’t have a: Chocolate Bar; Stationer; Food Hall; Luxury Book Publisher Department etc. Saks is also missing the large number of wealthy Arabs that shop at Harrods and Selfridges. Saks does have a Home Department but only online.
Virgil’s I’ve never tried but I have on several occasions tried Carmine’s which has really tasty ribs.
