Very informative video!! TFS! ❤️ also Amazon sells metal buckles to shorten your chain strap. They can be very useful in shortening your chain on the toy Lou Lou to convert into a shorter crossbody or a clutch by only leaving the top handle exposed, just leave it laying on top of the flap and clip the excess chain.

I could so see you wear the toy Loulou with summer dresses ! It looks amazing with your floral blouse in those sunset colors ! I wonder it you can pull the strap in almost fully so that only the leather strap Is “out” as a sort of top handle .. could you tie your chain on the inside with a little ribbon so that you can wear it as a top handle clutch ?
Hi Amie, I'm debating on getting either the YSL monogram clutch or the mini Lou puffer. I know that one of the main differences is that the clutch is a wristlet and the other one has a chain, but do you think you could fit the same amount of items in those two bags? There is not a big difference in measurements, but since the clutch is more of a structured clutch, I imagine that the puffer may fit a little more. However, I am wondering if it would fit enough to justify paying double the price. I would really love to know what you think. Thank you.

I like the ysl loulou classic and puffer. My only criticism is the black cotton lining. So hard to see and find things in the puffer. And also the lining in ysl bags feels a bit cheap compared to others.

Thanks Amie, love this review!! For the toy LouLou, you can use purse clips or tie the chain inside to adjust the length to wear as a shoulder bag or top handle, for more versatility 😀. I bought it in black and silver, which I think could still work for a spring or summer evening as well, especially the toy size 😜. Happy New Year!

how do you take care of these bags, since they are lamb skin? esp the small one in beige colour? do they get colour transfer easily?
There is a way to make the toy puffer a "over the shoulder bag"! You just slightly tie the chain inside the bag and adjust the length for "over the shoulder". I think you'd love trying it this way! 🥰

Love your video! I also have the red toy puffer. And I also have that beauty for almost a year. Yesterday I bought the small puffer in black with gold hardware. I sold my classis Loulou medium. Like you said with daily wear and tear. I like the sizes more from puffer line than the classic. Lots of love from another YSL lover. 🔥💁♀️
