Luon and luxtreme are totally different materials. Luon feels like cotton and luxtreme is way more slippery. I have both, luon I use for everyday wear and luxtreme for training. My dark navy luon ones are not see through at all. Of course I know nothing about the quality of them 5 years ago as I jumped on Lulu train about 2 years ago 🙂
Remember Pace Setter Skirts? I miss those. I know that the community agrees with you that the quality of the fabrics has changed over time. I always check the fabric composition when I buy to make sure that they have a high percentage of Nylon. The Zella leggings are a good choice. Did you know that one of Lulu's Product Managers left Lulu to develop Zella at Nordstrom? ALO is great too.
