I remember this case and felt Britney was one of cruelest, most selfish killers I heard of. From her friends, family and co-workers, she hurt all of them through her lies and thefts, obviously the worst being the murder of an innocent woman.
Oh my goddddd Brittany Norwood is so despicable!!!! Hearing how she staged the crime scene and how she injured herself im literally screaming YOU DUMB BITCH!! There is nothing funny about the murder of Jayna Murray and I am so sorry for her family and friends, but I am sitting her wondering did Brittany really think she was going to get away with this?? Personally I believe that there shouldn’t be lessened sentences for people that plead not guilty due to insanity or not being mentally stable because anyone who murders surely can’t be mentally stable so it shouldn’t matter

I live in Maryland and I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this case. Thank you for covering it with such grace! It’s really scary knowing someone like her lived near me, poor Jayne. Killed over catching someone steal leggings, what the actual hell. Brittany really is disgusting in every sense of the word.

The fact that Eleanor can keep so calm while talking about the murderers and keep the suspense until the end is an amazing skill!! I wouldn’t be able to talk about some of these people so calmly knowing the crimes they committed

She wasn't mentally ill…to spend hours waiting to be found in an uncomfortable position just means she was committed to the crime to get away with it.
She doesn't deserve to see the outside of the prison for the rest of her life.

OK – coming clean to internet strangers. In high school I worked at a clothing store and used to steal. I would never – ever have killed someone if confronted. I would have cried and been terrified, my first response would not have been to get multiple weapons and murder someone!
If Rachel lived across the street to where she would be able to see the car I feel like that’s a sign it was premeditated cause why couldn’t Rachel just come down and open the store for her to get the metro card…???
I have a theory that the forehead wound might have potentially been a defensive act from the victim, maybe during the attack the victim threw one of the Buddha statues and managed to get Brittany in the head with it but maybe that wasn’t the case? Idk I just have a hard time imagining that a girl who had hours to cover herself in superficial cuts would purposely give herself such a large wound on the head. And it also doesn’t make sense for her to have already wounded herself before moving the car and they found the bloody cap in the car. Idk about you but if I’m about to drive a few blocks, I’m not going to do it after purposefully bashing myself in the forehead with a rock. But alternatively a lot of what is going on in what appears to be the aftermath of the assault lacked rationale, which could be a sign of a potential concussion? Idk again just a theory and I’ve not done any personal research on the case
