  1. I wash my clothes by hand, no washing machine, so will this work if I use all these ingredients, soak in super hot water for a day in a bucket and just rinse?

  2. This is also a pet peeve of mine, but please do not use the word "guarantee". What works for you and others may not work for everybody. I will try this, but I've tried many formulas with these same combinations of ingredients, they work very little, or nothing noticeable, lets be clear I'm talking about the most greyed, dingy old whites, not those that are slightly grey, so I'm not hopeful this will work.

Isn't there a white dye that you can simply dye your greyed whites to a bright new white, won't this solve the problem?

  3. Chlorine-based bleaches can not working with any kinds of detergent.
It must sperate to 2 step.
A 2008 study indicated that sodium hypochlorite and organic chemicals (e.g., surfactants, fragrances) contained in several household cleaning products can react to generate chlorinated volatile organic compounds (VOCs).[15] These chlorinated compounds are emitted during cleaning applications, some of which are toxic and probable human carcinogens. The study showed that indoor air concentrations significantly increase (8–52 times for chloroform and 1–1170 times for carbon tetrachloride, respectively, above baseline quantities in the household) during the use of bleach containing products. The increase in chlorinated volatile organic compound concentrations was the lowest for plain bleach and the highest for the products in the form of "thick liquid and gel." The significant increases observed in indoor air concentrations of several chlorinated VOCs (especially carbon tetrachloride and chloroform) indicate that the bleach use may be a source that could be important in terms of inhalation exposure to these compounds. The authors suggested that using these cleaning products may significantly increase the cancer risk.[15]

  4. What id it with Americans and putting 'miracle' in the title, its not a miracle, its chemistry.

  5. Hi Jill!!! Thank you so much for this AMAZING solution!!! I had three extra large white towels that had been used as a recliner cover … for a long time…. they were so dirty…the recliner stayed clean but the towels were almost gray in color from dirt, food crumbs and I even think some of the dye from dark blue jeans had rubbed off onto the towels…
I put the towels in the washer on pre soak cycle…after 2 hours the water was filthy so…I let the tub empty and rinse one cycle in hot water…
I then refilled the tub with hot water and your miracle laundry cleaner mixture again….and let it soak again because 2 hours was still not longer enough….the towels were better but still dirty…..
Then… I let it soak in hot water until noon …so overall… I let the towels soak for a total of 11 hours ….I let them soak in my washer….I would put in a little bit a hot water every 1 to 2 hours and let it agitate for about 5 minutes and then let it sit….
The towels were so beautifully white!!! I was so suprised and pleased!!! ….
PS… I just remembered…I did not use 1 cup of powdered detergent…I replaced that with 1 capful of Melapower 6x scentt-free laundry detergent…it is the detergent I currently use….

  6. What about front loading washer? Mine says no powder :/

  7. Nice for the environment! You sure as hell know how to pollute our sacred earth just for the sake of getting something a bit more white. Get a life will you. You waste of space.

  8. I know this is an old videol But i was curious if this will work with well water. I have heard tales that well water and bleach brings out the iron in the water and has the opposite effect. HELP ME! lol. I have twins toddlers so any info helps. Thanks

  9. I used liquid dishsoap and non-chlorine bleach and skipped on the borax (I ran out) and this REALLY F-ING WORKED! I’VE tried everything including borax with, baking soda lemon concoction before and none of it did a great job like this one!

  10. I have soaked white prefold diapers in that solution for years and they always looked brand new….even the little "poo" stains come out…..it's perfect!!! that was a almost 40 years ago….so it works for all white t-shirts, socks, underwear…the all-cotton variety… I used a cup of cascade, a cup of clorox and a cup of tide…

  11. Did she say "home made" laundry detergent?

  12. May I please know the washer you are using?

  24. Send the your cell no or Watsup no

  25. This worked fantastically! I have a summer white cotton dress, bought it two years ago wore it twice, and the sweat yellowed under arms , didn't know how to bring it back to white, until now after using this method, I am grateful you shared it. I used blue dawn liquid dish soap though. I only rinsed it with a lot water, didn't need to wash it.

  26. Want clean and soft laundry? Use 15 g of sodium carbonate per load (12-15 lb load) in hot water. Cold water rinse. Do not add bleach. Do not add softener. This chemical removes body oil and bacteria/bugs in your clothes due to the pH value. There are no suds except what is manufactured by your body oil in the laundry water. Price per load? Just over 2c load.

  27. I do not have powdered dishwasher soap does anyone know if I can use like liquid dawn how much do I use ??

  28. YOU MUST READ OMG I'm a guy very busy in the hospital for the last 20 months I had some white clothes that had stains and everything on them I put them in a bucket with hot water and put some laundry soap in there and soak them but when I drained it out my clothes smelled and they were not clean so I tried your technique of the chlorine bleach, Borax, I used a dishwasher pouch that goes in my dishwasher, And I used some oxy laundry soap let me tell you I don't know if I can send you a picture but I soaked my water in hot water with all of that My water is filthy I might have to do it again I wish I could send you a picture I also have a very good TIP for you everybody has a hot and cold water source My machine will not just do hot water so I went to the cold water source and turned it off at the valve right before the hose that goes into my machine so only hot water went into my machine I did not have to boil any water.

  41. I use powdered FOCA detergent that you can find at Walmart mixed with a cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide in extremely hot water. Let clothes soak for at least 6 hours or overnight and launder normally. You'll be amazed at how your whites turn really white.

  42. how would I do this with a front loading machine?
