  2. Docs may have to watch and give impressions on Jamal Hill KO’ing Johnny Waker and the odd way he went down via forehead punch KO

Man the way the skier flip was mad violent. Seeing these accidents with trained medical eyes must be even more haunting

  6. I work with that fencing, it has a yield point to avoid injuries, it’s a crush zone like a bumper on a car.

But I’m just some dumb mechanic, so what do I know?

  7. Speaking of trades, DR. R should go over workplace injuries.

Roughnecks, mechanics, welders, and factory workers have the most dangerous jobs. Most interesting range of injuries.

Anyone who thinks I’m wrong on any of these. They are all in the top 10 most dangerous jobs in Canada.

  8. Maybe I didn't see this clearly but that hockey injury looked deliberate to me doctor what you thought?

  9. I see lots of pain.

  10. I dont think the McQuinn injury occurred at the Olympics

  11. as montaineer, i got to experience some crashes. they feel like this: sudden loss of balance or the realisation that you cant change your course, followed by the first contact with the ground where you attempt to somehow break your fall or steer away from obstacles ending up with your crash, sudden feel of pain, the stoppage and then standing up again and praying that its not a serious injury…

  12. Figure 4 leg lock on the female hockey player

  13. It’s bad when you cross the finish line, but can’t enjoy it due to being unconscious and face-down.

I enjoy watching these daring athletes staying upright snd safe!
More power to them and best wishes for recovery!!

  14. Not sure what is more painful , watching the athlete get injured or hearing a Doctor describe the injury. 😂

  15. Time for 16 minutes of torture

So open fractures are always terrible. But would being in snow make it worse or better for debridement?

  17. I wonder if wearing heavy duty knee braces that O-Lineman would prevent knee injuries

  18. Can you do Chris Paul's injury he got hurt this past Wednesday

  19. Watching your videos makes me want to go to medical school. I use to want to be an anesthesiologist or cardiologist.

  20. You talk about the recovery of pantients but what about the surgeons work on-site and in hospital? Like these open fracture closing making things happen… I mean how long it usually takes from you lot to repair this to so that surgery is success/faliure(I hope not!)

  21. I'd be curious to hear your reaction and thoughts on Daria Usacheva's injury. She's a figure skater who was injured early-midway into the season, and was described as having suffered a "trochanteric hip fracture."

  22. Loved this video, Dr. Chris!

  23. You should do react to ski crash videos like Andri Ragettli crash

  24. I love that I got a knee brace ad as I'm watching this, lol they know me too well

  25. Have you covered Bruce Lee's fists or a Muay Thai fighter's shins, those two are synonyms aren't they?
