Love your vlogs! I agree the cowhide pillows could look nice in your bedroom. I get how disappointed you are with them not matching but they have similar tones and look more realistic being a bit different. Your dogs are adorable!! The rug looks nice in your dining room (would go bigger). You guys will enjoy the coffee/tea section. Your home is beautiful! Decorating it and making it your own is exciting. Hard not to want to do it all right away. Enjoy it! The poinsettias are beautiful but I believe they are poisonous to dogs so just beware of that. Loved the Trader Joe’s haul! Yum! 😊🥰

When I first moved out I was in such a hurry to furnish the house I ended up buying a lot of things I don’t even like anymore, or that are falling apart just because they were cheap or I thought I “needed” it. It was part impatience and the excitement of finally having my own place. Now looking back I wish I would’ve slowed down because then I would’ve been happier with the things I got. Honestly there’s no reason to rush. Slowing down will give you some time to plan out the design and really know it’s what you want. I think DIYing is a great idea but you should start small. Maybe find a nice buffet table from a thrift store and refinish it. Most items you find at a thrift store are made of better quality than all the stuff you can buy new today. There’s a lot of channels that upgrade old furniture on here and they always look so great. I highly recommend Katie Scott’s channel. Then if you don’t like how it turns out it’s fine because you can always sell it on Facebook marketplace.

This is just from my perspective, but I came across your vlogs because of your Amazon hauls. You are doing a service to people like me, who have to watch our money and want to see what things really look like and how they work before purchasing online and potentially wasting money. Especially now that we are not out shopping in stores as much these days. It's not just enough to read a review on Amazon, I like to be shown the product. Plus you've helped with gift ideas for family that I was stumped on. I also love seeing you move in and decorate your new place. I am going to be moving in the new year for the first time in 20 years (downsizing) and it's great seeing the process of others' recent moves. Takes a little bit of the fear away and makes me look at it as an exciting new chapter.
I actually love your vlogs/hauls and you never come across as entitled. Honestly, the fact you even self reflect about it without getting hate, speaks volumes about the kind of person you are. Keep doing them as long as you enjoy them💕

Most of my furniture is delayed some furniture is missing and I have like a half empty house, so I love watching and or feeling that I’m not alone. And I love all your Amazon hauls, but I actually got very cute rugs for a really good prices on rugs.com and there’s another website called rugs usa.com maybe you should look at that, if you’re not obsessed with the rug then return it.
Hi Filo, it's ok if you seem unsure about how to decorate your first home. It takes time to know your style and experience on what to buy. Have you considered a consultation with an interior designer? Even if they just helped you with one or two rooms, they could teach you about room layouts and style options that maybe you wouldn't think of. You might even save money in the long run by buying the right pieces the first time. There's also Modsy, the online interior design consulting site that gets good reviews. See if they will sponsor you and make a video about the process.😉 You work so hard and at a young age you are achieving great things. You don't come across as "bratty" . Just excited and humble. No worries. ❤

I love this video. I didn’t know you also have a full time job. I can identify with how you explained you’re feeling lately while you were doing your makeup. What’s helped me is refocusing on the truly important things in my life, and everything I’m grateful for. I enjoy the hauls because it gives me ideas, but since I’ve already done my holiday shopping (I’ve gone overboard) I’m not watching as many haul and gift idea videos right now. The thought is what counts! And ultimately I’ve had to remind myself Christmas is one day and isn’t worth getting into a lot of debt for. You are enough! I am enough. You're recording a vlog and showing us around like you would do any guest in your home. You'd also most likely offer us something to eat. So a visitor would also see your food. Nothing wrong there. There's always going to be someone better off and worse off than everyone of us. That's why we each have to be thankful for what we have and not judge other people.
