urgently seeking an answer!!! My daughter has prom in like 4 hours and now wants to dye her velvet green dress black. Can we use the all purpose? And with salt or vinegar? Pleeeaaassse I do not want this to come out bad.

Do I need color remover? I am dyeing Adidas track pants from a bright red to black. I bought the dye and fixative now it says to use a color remover.
What if you want the color to be lighter

I always thought you just pour the dye in hot water and just let it soak and then wash. Too many steps here

What if i want to dye half of the piece of clothing one color and the other half another color
