  2. Dr Raynor! Missed your videos. Dr Mak

  3. 😃 ol Simon has me conflicted. As an artist I completely understand…"bruh I just did a beautiful piece of work here…let me put my stamp??? What's the deaal?! This transplant is BEAUTIFUL!"

On the other hand…."Did u just tag me w/o permission!?! Lawyer plz!"

  4. These memes are very funny

  5. I am a retired OR Nurse (RN) /first assist / assist / Scrub tech , and mop slinger. I thoroughly enjoy your presentation and can relate to all that you present ,, so spot on . Educate the uneducated Doc , and thankyou for your insight .

  6. I love how seriously you took the maglev meme😂

  7. The guy who wrote his initials made me laugh so hard omg 🤣😂

  8. "We are like surgical gorillas with power tools"

Well, that's enough motivation for me to continue having no broken bones

  9. Great video, Chris!📚💪🏽💪🏽

  10. 9:20 – might be a reference to the 'childbirth chainsaw', a device invented in 1780 to aid in cutting the cartilage ligament at the front of the pelvis during difficult births (Symphysiotomy)

3:00 – might be a patient's request, but the cut-parallel sutures would be dubious and cause unwanted tension

  11. Politics aside, Ben’s life story is amazing and along with his success in his field.

  12. Dr. Raynor isn't merely entertaining, he's a great teacher.

  13. ("the 7 days of doxycycline?!!!")

  14. I love how explained the doctor train so professionally

  15. The opposite effect of placebo, nocebo, would be interesting to study in medical efficacy. It's essentially the reverse so you basically have the patient believe that the drug won't work at all or that the patient receiving it won't think its going to work. Either way, it would potentially shed some light on real effectiveness of drugs if they can overcome negative expectation to the treatment outcome and still have a significant positive effect to the treatment as a whole.

Although I think that pretty much every ethics board in any med school worth its salt would outright dismiss something like this, especially if the source is a Youtube comment 🙂

  16. Dr. Ben Carson is simply a classy dude, who has accomplished what very few people could. Spent his life to better the lives of others with medical practice in neuroscience. Regardless what anyone may say, no one can convince me that what he's done in his life is anything short of pure dedication and love of both people and his craft.

Also: I enjoy the memes, really bring to light the reality of what they bring. Thanks Dr. Chris Raynor!

  18. 5:13 your reaction to this one reminded me of a joke.

What's the difference between a surgeon and an engineer?

When a surgeon screws up one person dies. When an engineer screws up millions die

  19. Bro the edits have added so much comedy. I don't remember them in older videos. How new are they?

  20. Can you ask for "custom Suture patterns". Like the haha one?

Hey Doc, what's your sleeping position. It's really hard to correct postures, esp when u're not sure which more is correct…

  22. I work in sterile processing. Sometimes if someone gets a revision and they want their titanium implant (now explant) back its SUCH a pain in the ass to get the bone and tissue off of it so they can take it home with them! Titanium bonds with tissue like none other!

  23. Dr. Raynor What are your thoughts on BPC 157 and TB 500? Or the other number peptides that are becoming available on the internet? Anecdotally the seem to provide some people with remarkable benefits but the reddit protocol of basically injecting some peptides off the internet somewhere near where it hurts doesn't sit extremely well with me. Can you do a video on this??

  24. Can you do a video reacting to Dr. Death, about Christopher Dunscht?

  25. Forgetting about the expense of replacing the apple's otherwise the rotten apples would start attracting the doctors XD

  26. Can you react to my friend breaking his leg in the South west regional in Waco Texas it's NM vs. TX

  27. Hey Dr.Raynor you should check out the Arizona cardinals Jonathan Ward hit on Green Bay packers Kyln Hill it would be interesting to see what your reaction would be to it.

  28. Amusingly I actually had a surgeon and family friend make the operation joke after I had a cervical rib resection the funniest thing was the look of horror on junior doctors face, The only issue was it really hurt to laugh.

  29. So.. what happens when someone undergoes an emergency surgery? Is it just planned as you go? I once had to go through a surgery within minutes of arriving at a hospital and it scared me. I had cut my neck pretty bad.

  30. 5:33 🖐🤣 Killing me.
Edit: If Toronto made a "MD maglev" instead of the Eglinton LRT, it'd be done already lol.

  31. Oh I feel that second meme. I broke my left leg back in August and have rods and screws in it now. Still getting used to that feeling (and getting used to walking again).
