The content is pretty outdated and highlights only the old “Chip scandals” that happened like 7-15 years ago. Those have been the subject of many videos and articles on youtube already. A lot has changed since the new ceo stepped in and the issues highlighted in this video are not relevant anymore. Of course, it does not mean that whatever Chip said/did was acceptable.
sounds like a hater mate. Whatever weird stuff the CEO might have said before aside, Isn't a brand that pushes people to be as perfect as they can be, focusing on self improvement a good thing? According to your train of thought, Nike's slogan of just do it is messed up because it encourage impulsive thinking and making decisions that could be impractival?
I dont know lulu but from your video alone i feel like you are not being fair to them and just bashing them. Seems like you are spinning the point of perfect girl/ improvement thing just to make it sound negative. Imbalanced video
I always liked all of your videos and agreed with everything you said until this one. I really didn't get what is the problem with Lululemon apart from his former CEO being an a**hole. I'm a privileged straight guy so I don't know either what #thatgirl thing is all about. That being said, I don't see how their genius marketing strategy might push unhealthy and unrealistic fitness ideals and lifestyles on vulnerable girls who can be easily impressed and manipulated
no you got your first commercial that tells me not to subscribe if you got them paying you you don't need me i hate stupid ads ,and when you take away my ability to hit skip ,its like a smack in the face .
I'm from the UK and this is the first time I've heard of this company. I usually see people in the gym wearing Under Armour in terms of what brand I see the most. I see they have a UK website and wow is it expensive lol
"Fosters a fixation of health to an unhealthy degree"
"Mediocrity to greatness means that people who aren't perfect are mediocre"
You're reaching pretty fucking hard. It's motivational for people to push themselves to get better.
Chip Wilson was the fucking business. It's that brand that people want to buy from. This isn't toxic positivity.
Everyone, including women, should always be striving to become better.
Chip got fucked because he only owned 8% of the company, and wasn't great as watching every single thing he said, before it gets twisted.
You can't make a piece of clothing that works for everyone. So what if people who have bodilies significantly different from the norm cause additional pilling because of a difference in composition?

I got some problem with your video. How is promoting a better lifestyle is bad? How trying to form your employee better is bad? You should try reading His book before selling your bias Idea on somebody that you Read something on the internet. Supergirl are the Power women Daughter. All I can say it was a great time to be a 13/14 y/o boy in middle school when it took off. Looking back it now though feel like some sketchy shit going on for kids that young wearing stuff like that.
I think Lulu makes my butt look awful. But it's super comfortable, well-made and well-thought out. Great for crossfit and I like their tops with built in bras for Hawai'i summers. I've had some pieces since 2008. But now I shop second hand. Way cheaper and I don't contribute to the company. And they only recently started sizes for bigger girls. Finally.
I will not lie, I’ve had one pair of 110$ lululemon leggings and they are the ONLY pants that have survived my weight fluctuations and have NEVER ripped. I’ve been 140lbs and 200lbs and not only do they fit but they fit COMFORTABLY. And it’s been 6 years…
THE PROBLEM WITH 2022 it that almost literally everything is a lie to get you to buy something… "FAT SHAMING IS BAD" Do you know who came up with that and promoted it???
The processed food and carbonated drinks industry. The whole "BODY POSITIVITY" thing has zero to do with being nice to fat people and is 100% about stopping you from STOPPING buying their products that are making you fat and unhealthy… On the other side, you have people telling you are fat and you need to be perfect. And BOTH sides are doing it for $$$$
“…a man,”. That is a dangerous concept these days, but for those of us that ARE men, I say, “PHAQ it, I really don’t give a $h!t about everyone and their BS! Great video!

Love the content mate! Keep it up, you're my new fav channel =)
Am I the only one that thinks this sounds eerily similar to WeWork…?
funny that I first heard of Lululemon when they sponsored Vox Borders
Geez I didn’t know lulus origins. Bad taste in my mouth
This is the most ridiculous video. Chip is long gone, his principles are no longer, and the articles you cite are from a literal decade ago.

So you're saying if Homer Simpsom design yoga clothes so he can drool over women, he could be a billionaire??

I don't see the problem. He made pants that made women look good. Of course he did it on purpose…
I only know that Lululemon is overpriced…
Tbh, this is gross and very sexist. It’s crazy, because I literally thought that lulumoon was owned by a women, but not a men.
Could you please do a video about on running 😊
Weird, everything you went over was just "See, bad/weird vibes." without any substance. Who cares who's the CEO, you're buying a product.

It's crazy how fake everything you claim. I dont even know if you Do any research or you just take the top title and claim this is true.

Nothing there fits me, especially the tops. Gonna stick with my Walmart athletic wear 😎
That's a great sponsor to choose
I don't have a lululemon product but leggings are really comfy as heck. (male btw)
I laughed way too hard at NO CAPES
As long as good looking 20 year old women keep wearing them…I don't care if it's a cult. LOL
I am a middle school lululemon girl 😮

What you bring a “white dude” have yo do with anything. Who cares about color talk about this fashion shit
That girl or that guy does not exist naturally.

Lol of course the whole thing was invented by a man.
Men lead women follow
