  1. If "anyone" with "any occupation" from "anywhere" around the world comes to my country to help my people in "any way" would make me grateful. Period😎

  2. 1:11 If you think there is a word called "failure" in this life, you are the one who failed man. No one ever failed in this life because there is no goal to achieve, no place to arrive… it is just a journey. wherever you are it's a right place wherever you go it's a right direction.. this includes helping others while you work in a mall… got it?

  3. I love the huge ad to promote the white guy after the set.

  4. Lol funny but true

  5. Haha that’s funny, I defs understand the joke! But he could work on the delivery of the joke

  6. I like how this video sparks a debate here. But the people who didn't like the joke plainly just didn't get it. It's sad because they took it out of context and made it sound sinister.
The comedian doesn't need your help. Not all of Kenya need your help. And most certainly, if you can't actually help, then stop bragging about it.
"Saviour mentality" is a thing. People who think they're better than most just because they gave a shirt. I've seen it happen in our country. They weren't doing it for the people they're "helping", they just do it to look good. Simple as that.

  7. Working at the mall or not … if you can afford to take 3 weeks off of work to travel to another country you aren't failing at life. You might have questionable taste in leisure activities, but not failing at life.

  8. This man isn’t bashing the intelligence or skills of people in retail. He’s referring to the voluntourism industry that sells “the experience of a lifetime” to people looking to see an exotic part of the world. Volunteering + cool travel adventure = opportunity for anyone with enough money to pay for it. These companies rely on money from people attending their trips to survive. Really, you’re just there doing the easiest, most benign task they can find for you and you’re thinking “wow, I’m really helping out the poor Africans.” Tourists who go on these trips are silly if they don’t realize that they are doing anything a local could do.

  9. Actually many africans think their better than africana americans

  10. I thought this was a ted talk till the end LOL

  11. Well at least that girl was trying to make a difference…

  12. but do you have to be rich or be successful in life in order to help? even that one blanket that one mosquito net that one mattress it can make a difference to someone. what has museveni or you done for that matter done to curb the number one killer in uganda which is malaria. over 70k pple a yr die from malaria and a simple thing like a net can actually help. it doesnt take an engineer or a doctor to actually do that. & it doesnt matter if they r doing it for the social media, infact it just helps spread the word. i personally dont agree

  13. "All of you think you're better than us."

Well I'm pretty sure there's a reason you're saying that. The word "insecurity" comes to mind…

  14. Because, JERK "COMEDIAN", she wanted to sacrifice her time, gifts and energy to come and SERVE people like you, but NO, you are here mocking her like she's a failure and disrespecting her!!!! Like it matters what profession she is?! Seriously! You have NO profession at all, and you come to mock her?! Jerk

  15. Well actually just the tourism dollars help the country so if she works at the mall and can still afford to travel she must be doing something right. Also my former boss had a store in a mall and after 25 years she closed her doors we had a huge sale including the fixtures and donated thousands to Uganda to help build a school so you're welcome.

  16. I'm an architecture student I don't have a job but I want to help out where I can. Does this mean I am bad.

  17. Melania Trump right now …smh

  18. Exactly!!… Thanks Arthur.

  19. Stay here, stay in your base, net apartment, and stay the Hell away from my people. Hahahaha. Precisely

  20. City of Capetown is in Africa but its better than most cities in Europe & USA.

  21. It is not the developing world…. it the post-colonized world. The continent was developed way before Europe was an idea.

  22. Funny and clever example of 'white saviour complex'

  23. This might be the best thing on youtube… ever.

  24. Tell them

  25. This the truth. You want to help Africa? Do businesses with them and let them grow themselves. They have smart people who are eager to change their countries. So let them. And we become their partners. Media sucks because they only portray the dark sides of the beautiful African continent.

  26. You described a volunteer as a person that values live based on where she works at 21. Shame. No one thinks they are better than you. No one but you.

The question is, Do you do the effort? Do you spend three weeks a year helping Uganda? or is a shopping mall working woman more aware of the misery that children are forced to live because of your “expertise”.

    Stop hate. Stop indolence.

  27. Straight up broda…LOoool

  28. Love it. He puts certain people in their place. Love it.

Like celebrities from USA building schools in Africa and In Detroit they have schools where kids don't have basic equipment to help them learn. Not to mention that bunch of them go to school hungry.

  31. First time a joke makes me feel bad. I understand the volunteer was condescending (and uneducated about Africa) but say that you're a failure when working at the mall is too much. And I do not work at the mall.

  32. Gotdammm that’s a lil harsh

  33. You got them dude

  34. Okay, so I am African as well (From Tanzania), a country close to Uganda. I wasn't born in a rich or middle-class family. I got a good quality education from a school owned by Australians that was for people like me. Some people took their time to come to help out with manual labor such as setting up the library, helping construction, or even just playing with us, etc. Because of these people who take some time off to help, my life has changed. SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Do not feel discouraged to help because most of you have impacted a lot of lives.

  35. Damen he nailed it 😂

  36. Booth smooches

  37. Good
. Sick of growing up having to give charity to people have never met. Am working class. I will give to my own fair people.
