The lip colors definitely looked like they darkened up a bit after the initial application but they are very flattering on you regardless
How does the eye palette compare to the Charlotte tilbury eye palettes? It seems similar in shades and maybe formula but a touch less expensive?
11:11 is legit universal itās insane! If you have a darker skintone itās super super pretty. I did wanna get 75 degrees. But I think Iāll wait on a sale and consider picking up Mood 4 ever as well!

I'm sorry but the lip balms just do not look good. It looks patchy,dry,and just a little off.
My issue with Roen is they give me the same vibe as clothing brands who only offer sizes S – XL but they intentionally mislabel their clothing and their S is actually XS and their M is actually S and so on because they dont want fat people wearing their stuff. Their instagram feed is all young model beautiful women and the only woman over 30 is their founder… I also resent a brand sharing an LGBT solidarity post but the only man on their entire feed is from a few days ago and he's using their skincare not their makeup. I am not their customer because they have told me I'm not.
The glossy, brilliant look on the eyeshadows is exactly what I love about the eyes to mesmerise from Charlotte Tilbury. At least how they look on me. Thank you, Kackie, for this review. I have considered trying Roen but I will pass on this release.
I think Roen is pretty shady for not willing to keep Nikki on, but then hired another celebrity makeup artist to take over as āartistic directorā because their current founder clearly ran out of ideas and doesnāt know what sheās doing.

I actually like the Mood 4 Ever palette for more neutral looks, but it definitely doesnāt feel as special or fine-tuned as the original palettes (I have the 11:11). Wear time is about the same for both.
Oh, and thank you for saving us all from the new lip products š„“ Iām not psyched with the path Roen is going down without Nikki DeRoest, but thankfully it sounds like sheās working on her own products
Now that Iāve converted to cream shadows, I think Roen is a deal. Iām buying 4 pots of Trinny London for almost $100. Yes, I get more product but to have buy 4 colors to get a complete lookā¦I hate that. I love Roen shadows creasing and all and Iām 54! I also think with a primer, the Roen last hours. The rest of the bunch..not so much.

Thanks for the review, Kackie š The 54Ā° was one of my favorite palettes of 2019 and still remains a gem for me. The 11:11 has tempted me many times, but ever since Nikki left the company, my opinion on the brand shifted and I've yet to pull the trigger on that palette (though I do still consider buying it). I think I kind of have the same thought as youāNikki was the "x factor" of the company, and ever since she left (and the brand's protracted exodus from Sephora's site), the company has just turned into a slowly-sinking ship, floating on the accomplishments made while Nikki led the brand. Maybe it's a little unfair to think like this, but the brand was so special and I just know something really shady had to have gone down behind the scenes for the founder to just peace out so quickly after such a promising start š
Not that I mind at all but it was fun watching a review where I could tell you were not thrilled with the products going in šš

I DETEST color changing lip balms. Try putting the melting lipstick in the freezer to stiffen it up. I always put lipstick in the fridge for a few hours when they are delivered because of the heat in transit.
I hope you returned those horrible lippies and got your money back, those are horrible. I am kind of interested in the new quad palette but I donāt want to pay full price.

Oh my gosh! Iāve been wanting the 11/11 palette since I watched this videoā¦. Boxycharm is having their pop up sales right now and I was browsing through the items and saw the Rosen 1111 palette for $18 ! I couldnāt flick fast enough! Iām so stinking excited to get it and at such a steal (also bought some EM blush drops for $9). I just had to share my excitement with people who would understand.

I purchased all 3 of the colours since i love lip balms and i love Roen products but mine kept breaking too. So disappointing as Roen typically make great products and these were not cheap š
Personally, I like the lip oil balm. Just don't push them up so far and they do not break. That said, they are ridiculously pricy!

To be fair to Roen, forever mood, mood 4 ever, anything like that is so basic and generic that I donāt think they were trying to copy anyone. I do t like the name, but Iām not judging it anymore than Iād judge the 5 million lip or cheek colors called bitten.
