Great video Corbin! Those are some sick looking shoes indeed. I'm interested in picking one of these 11 by Boris shoes myself in the future, but I'm afraid of getting them all dirty and worn down (especially when something cost A LOT). I tend to keep most of my things factory new and the thought of wearing something and getting them all dirty (or worse, damaged) can really trigger my OCD problems for sure.
Still, I hope they don't completely sell out by the time I became more than confident enough to pull the trigger and wear them while taking good care of them, of course.
I own the bamba 3s and just got the 5s. Absolutely love the lineup of 11 x salomon shoes! Great mix of tech and designer imo. I appreciate the various backgrounds and fits you put in very nice touch
Nice video, this was a great in-depth look into these shoes. I have the Camper CRCLR high which are quite similar in form and function but a bit cheaper. I think the Bambas look quite a bit better, though. One nice thing about the Campers is that there are no laces.

Thank you for this great, detailed and honest review. I've been waiting for a review of the low DYE version. Also good to know the paint might still bleed a bit. A bit disappointed as well. Nonetheless a super awesome design I really love. Even would say Bambas are techwear classic shoes.
And of course, fantastic fits with the Bambas and your enfin leve and deploy pants.

I would love to find out more about the dye process that BBS uses – when you inspect the Dirty colours (ie the dyed ones) it’s amazing that they are able to dye something like a shoe including the sole with that almost tie dye effect.
I definitely think going up half a size is a good idea but agree that ¼ size would be ideal. My only gripes with these (low and high) are that the laces are pretty feeble and too long. And the insole is also a bit feeble, especially when compared to the normal Salomons.

Got them last year, specifically the bamba 2 low 'Dirty Reds'. Absolutely love the durability of the traction, silhouette and the different hues of one color. And I love that they're always end up going 50% off. Yeah, the laces are a little bit cumbersome to tuck in everytime you want to use the zip. Also Salomon are so inconsistent, when it comes to sizing. I feel that they fit half size big, maybe it's just my feet.
What size are your speedcross? I am a TTS US9 in Nike/Adidas and had to get 9.5 for speedcross and was wondering what size to get the BBS 11's in.

Does the gore tex on high top stretch out and lose its elasticity after multiple wears? Would you recommend the gore tex or the non-gore tex version? I live in a more tropical type of country, so am debating whether to get the high top or the low top. I am leaning on the high top, but am not sure if the neoprene actually traps in too much heat. Any advise would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

For the bamba 2 lows do you feel like you should have stuck TTS instead of a half size up? Most people say to size a half up but some people also say TTS so idk. Making sure i know what size to get before purchasing
