Just bought one a month ago for $50 in my country. Its not bad not bad at all. Mine also has the icy midsole, like you i wish it was the gum colored. Anyways mine is not all black upper but the traditional black with white stripes so it kinda blend in with the icy blue midsole. Still it looks weird icy blue and black. But i got used to it and it feels good on feet too. Definitely better than the orig samba. I cant walk for very long in those
I wish adidas can use the same leather on samba RM on its superstar series. I feel the leather on these samba rm is the same as the one used on the adidas lacombe
