Re keeping the green bag- that´s for you and only you to decide! If it does not make your heart sing let it go. If you can honestly say you love it, keep it. The colour is gorgeous and it is a very different bag from the wristlet.
Of course you deserve to have as many bags as you like to have. You pay for them with your own money you do work hard for. Nobody has the right to judge the size of your collection!
This is a GREAT video – there DOES need to be more conversation about Farfetch and other sites from consumers and not sponsored youtubers. I take sponsored videos with a huge grain of salt. Farfetch is a huge hit and miss. Some orders, great. Fast, packaged, good pricing. Other times, the box is damaged, the ITEM is damaged, or paperwork is missing. My mum ordered a pair of Dolce and Gabbana shoes and they were completely broken. So i dont know… I will continue being a customer, but I am sick of seeing sponsored videos that are not reality

I would say if you don’t the whole set it would be kind of a turn off and would get it something else love the colour
It is a good offer to get a credit/refund for the higher price. I doubt many stores would agree to that. It sounds like you’re a bit disenchanted by the bag though after the experience. Fair enough. If you decide to keep it, wear it heaps, take it on adventures and get the value out of it. Both bags are pretty. IMO envelope clutch looks more elegant and chic, camera bag more playful and ready to party. I have the larger Lou camera bag and it’s become my favourite bag. I do have my eye on an envelope clutch too in a different colour. In different styles/colours I think both could be justified in my collection. The price point is good for the clutch. Once you make your decision whatever it is just dive in and don’t look back 😉

I once ordered a bag on Farfetch using a 10% discount code. The payment didn’t go through. So tried to order it again using the discount code. They wouldn’t let me use the discount code again. I haven’t bought from them since.
The color is gorgeous. Keep it. Yu might not get the same color again. Think about it.
Plus you can’t beat the price of that wristlet!

I’d be buying that wristlet now on discount and comparing them together then decide if you want to send it back or send them both back or keep them both!
I think you – eventually – got a fair deal from them but do you just want a bag in this colour, or is this type of bag one you really like because this and the wristlet are very different. Do you really need two bags this shade or will one suffice because if it’s the shade that’s more appealing, then one will be plenty. I try not to buy more than 2 luxury items per year because I won’t get chance to wear them and enjoy them before I’m on to the next thing. This year I’ve only purchased two bags and one went back as it wasn’t up to the standard I expect. Doubt I can get that bag again but it doesn’t matter because there is always something else to love and covet.
this companies are packaging everything without paper and proper items to protect the bag..Louis Vuitton does this ..I have LV iconic bags minus the speedy that everyone seems to have …I am over these second hand resale companies and designers because the money they make thier is no need to be that stingy with the prices so high….i will buy a few pieces that i like here and there not wasting my money

Farfetched is a platform for small boutiques to sell their items online. The packaging will depend on the boutique selling the item. The authenticity card should come with the bag, however, I don't k ow if ysl bags come with it.
I’m just wondering if you keep the camera bag will it always have a frustrating memory associated with it. I bought a YSL bag from a YSL store and wasn’t aware that I could not return it for a refund. I had to get a store credit. And then I had to find a replacement and I did not LOVE the replacement either but I was so frustrated with the process that I just kept it. I never used the bag, it was a small Lou Lou bag in dark beige. I recently sold it to Fashionphile for a loss but I was relieved to get rid of it and the unpleasant memories associated with it.
Hi, love your YT channel and the content. My thoughts on the YSL bag is send it back, I don’t you would ever be happy 100% with it. Receipt and authorization card should have been included.
I don’t know where you live but Saks acts the same way with returns. It’s annoying to say the least.

I'm glad to hear Farfetch was able to resolve the issue to your satisfaction. As for the YSL mini lou camera bag, it is SUCH a practical bag that really transitions well from day to night. I personally own one and I have to say, I always catch myself reaching for it! It is gorgeous, fits so much, durable, dressy yet casual (if that even makes sense haha), lightweight, classic shape, and the list goes on. That green color is so pretty and looks great on you. I hope you decide to keep this green camera bag. 🙂
Absolutely love this video and your take on the Mini Lou vs the clutch. Covid has definitely changed my views and perspective on my luxury buying. I’m by no means a minimalist, but I’ve definitely purged my bag collection and Joe spend time thinking before making new purchases. Do I really need this item? Will I use it? Is it going to just sit on my shelves looking pretty. It’s such a refreshing outlook to now have.
Also imo as a YSL lover, I very much think that you’re making the right decision. The clutch is more versatile where as I’ve never liked the Mini Lou and do not think it’s worth the price point. Hat said I love the Medium Lou and have added 2 to my collection this year and am eyeing a third lol
I think it is a cute bag but since you already have the wristlet – I would return it – inflation is getting really bad – I would try to stop buying so much
I think you made the right call returning this bag, especially if you’re wanting the wristlet more and would use it more. Definitely buy the wristlet. It’s slightly more versatile because you can wear it a few different ways. It’s SO easy to convert it into a crossbody bag! However, I’m very happy to hear that Farfetch was able to give you a solution that you felt satisfied with.
I once bought a bag from Farfetch that came with visible scratches and nail marks all over. It was a piece of garbage. It didn't come with the Farfetch tag either, which made me worry that I wouldn't get my refund. Luckily I got a full refund in the end and the process was seamless. It was still a disappointing experience and I'm weary of purchasing from them from now on.
I just bought the ysl mini camera bag from FF, and mine was also missing the authenticity card. It leaves me very frustrated to not have it, but I got it before the price increase and in the beautiful FOG color. If Saks or NM had it, I would have just bought from there. FF just said they can help me return it. Im so annoyed bc I want to keep it but I won't have the authenticity card. I also don't want to buy it for the new price, and to see that I may not have the authenticity card again. Please let me know what you decided to do, I'm in the same dilemma.

I’m glad that Farfetch was accommodating with your request because you were very reasonable to want to get an exchange. It might be good that you had the extra time to think about which bag you would like more. Don’t ever feel pressured to make a decision based on hurting other people’s feelings. You have to be happy about it, it’s your money!
I think the purchasing experience with Farfetch depends 100% on who the actual vendor is. I ordered the same bag in white, and it arrived from St Laurent in NYC beautifully boxed with all the expected paperwork. A perfect example of “your mileage may vary”!
Farfetch can be hit or miss. I contact them when this happens/the boutique experience.
Btw, the color I just got today is called green field but looks like it will be the same. Not sure 🤔
It does not have an authenticity card. I told you that. Why are you claiming that it has a card. I own 10 Saint Laurent bags and none came with authenticity cards

I completely understand how you feel and I believe you have a right to feel you do. However, buy what you can afford. It’s unusual to expect what your expecting from a 3rd party clearance liquidator.
just made my first order from farfetch last week and the balenciaga sneakers came from the same address as my ordered from the actual balenciaga website. however, I have a friend who ordered a pair from them and it came from a random seller and looked like it was throw in the box and had been used. we both thought maybe its a display pair they sold her.
Just got the package from Farfetch today, it look like this item is from the boutique. When I first open the package, it is well presented with YSL black tissue paper, dust bag. But Iater, there is no payment receipt and return lable inside the box. There is care booklet and a piece of white small card with item name and lots of serial # in the small envelope. On some YSL unboxing video, it come with black authenticity card, just wondering if the white small paper card is the new authenticity card?
