Pokémon Journeys: The Series is the eighth part of the anime series. It features all of the regions from the main-series games, including the Generation VIII games Pokémon Sword and Shield. This series shares its Japanese name with the original series when the anime first premiered in 1997, and is officially labeled with “2019”, the year this series started in, for disambiguation. This new series focuses on the two protagonists Ash Ketchum and Goh, along with their partners Pikachu and Raboot. It also features a young girl named Koharu (Chloe), who has a Yamper, and her father, Professor Sakuragi (Cerise), who runs a laboratory in Vermilion City. It features all the regions that have appeared in the Pokémon games, from Kanto to Galar. Pokémon from each region will also appear.

This was a good episode Ash has his Rematch against Rinto were Galarian Farfetch’d evolved into Sirfetch’d liked how Ash had it use the top bit of it’s leak as a shield and it evolved by Given Three Crites and Ash beat Rinto so Rinto in the previous episode was just entered the Normal Class which is why they didn’t have a actual battle and this is the second type were Ash has a team of Fully evolved Pokemon since XY and Z and I liked that Goh got some time like His Scizor training with Farfetch’d and catching a Bellesprout that Grookey befriended but I didn’t like that at the beginning Ash had three Battles offscreen they should be showing more of Ash’s battles.
Honestly I thought ash's farfetched wouldn't evolve at all because in the new opening it shows farfetch'ed looking at the sunset that episode hasn't happened yet glad the writers decided to evolve him

fun fact gallade had justified as its ability but justified is a hidden ability while Steadfast is its only normal ability. the anime shows you that hidden abilities do exists. to me hidden abilies are just the "rare" abilities while normal abilites are just really common.. so hidden abilities in the anime is pretty rare. xy meowstic in the gym battle also had prankster which is hidden.
After his galarian farfetch'd evolved into sirfetch'd, ash and the other will probably learn and discover that several Galarian Forms have an evolution that their regular form does not, and that that they'll go to the galar region more often to learn more about it and find more galarian form pokemon and their evolved forms!
