  1. I have loved everything I have tried only thing I haven't tried is skincare or eyeshadow. Only problem I have is I wished the foundation goes lighter but that's always a prob. For me 😆

  2. Thanks for the video! I was really anxious to know how the new products performed! I am sorry to hear that they did not take into consideration a variety of skin colors… I had such high hopes… one of the most important things for me in makeup is being clean, recyclability, and being practical. That's why I think they deserve a chance. Even tho they did bad, they admit and are trying to correct it, which is great. Most brands don't do it, or just talk about it and are not even recyclable or clean.

  3. honestly, i was hoping for a lot more. i just wanted more from the line and i'm really disappointed they only came out with one shade. it's fine they pulled it, but that doesn't negate the fact they came out with one shade.

  4. 🎃🧡🎃

  5. It doesn’t seem like anything special. I think you did a good job applying it and it looked pretty, but I have no interest in trying her make up. It seems like she needs to be more creative and inclusive.

  6. You make me laugh every time I watch. 🤪 I am bonkers for beauty, but when I occasionally cheat on you with other vloggers it is not nearly so much fun. You make my day better. You could talk about the shipping forecast in the south of England and I would tune in. 😍😍😍

  7. I always struggle with coming up with something useful to say in your comments 🤷🏻‍♀️ so just going to say thanks for the video and thoughts!

  8. “Naked mole rat”😂😂😂😂 Girl, you’re beautiful even when sleep deprived!

  9. What’s a good alternative to the LC eyeliner? Looking for a good one, but not wanting to support the brand.

  10. I had to laugh because I called myself a naked mole rat just this morning after I overapplied a full-coverage foundation. The effect is especially strong if you get foundation on your lashes. 😂

Also, the way you talk about what you wanted that shadow to do sounded like you wanted it to do what the Aether formula does. I have hard time reaching for other formulas now. It’s just so easy to blend.

  11. I was skeptical about the LC make up line, but I took the plunge and ended up purchasing the blush the bronzer 😂 and the eye shadow platte in “Magic Hour” and I LOVE the eyeshadow platte, the colors are gorgeous and the formula performs surprisingly well! I could take or leave the blush/bronzer, they’re okay not mind blowing. Magic Hour palette is excellent though.

  12. I bought the liquid eyeliner on your recommendation, and it's probably now my favorite one that I've tried since KVD (which I haven't repurchased for years), except that it smudges a little in my outer corner. I haven't really been interested enough to try anything else. I considered the eyeshadow palettes, but like you said, there are already tons of good options for those color stories on the market, and I'm generally feeling like, if they're not offering me anything that Aether hasn't already offered me, then there's no reason for me to buy it.

I did see that they JUST released another cheek tint/cream blush color, but eh shrug

  13. OMG…our 5 week old sleeps like an angel in his Snuggle Me lounger for supervised naps but the Snoo? Every day, moment, sleep is anyone's guess! Lol I have a love/hate with the infant lounger. zzzzZZZZZzzzzz

  14. Very thoughtful about what you say and how you say it. Super informative

  15. Can you put the doc a tot in the bassinet? Safely? My fav essential palette is the hourglass myth. Very basic mattes if you need one. I know hourglass is not as inclusive but this was the palette I needed. I hope you don’t keep spending your money on companies like this for mainly white girls for us. I am pretty sure most of us don’t want to support these types of brands anyway. Great video

  16. I almost spit out my milk when you referred to yourself as a naked mole rat 😂😂

  17. This line and the bronzer controversy provide a great marketing case study! Your points are spot on, and I could actually see showing excerpts of this video in future classes. I also appreciate how you take the hit so we don’t have to purchase every new product that comes out :). Thank you and hope the weekend brings at least a little more sleep!

It does suck as a brown girl, these brands always consider is an "afterthought". We have to wait months to get face products in our shades.

  19. Huge missed opportunity on her end. I’ve always liked her as a business woman with her different fashion and homeware ventures but yeah… you said it oh so eloquently! She missed the mark. Never planned on purchasing from her but I enjoyed this video as always!

  20. My daughter hated her crib so we ended up having her sleep most of the time in her swing i think until she was 4m old.

  21. Lol! Midnight – 3am was hellllllll until my daughter was about 10 weeks… i was not even remotely functioning so you are doing fantastic!!!

  22. Why do people say color way instead of color story 🤦🏼‍♀️Like come on. It’s like they just want to sound different or something and comes across as a try hard vibe

  23. My grandson always fell asleep in the Dock A Tot. Didn't like his bassinet. LOL. I think the Dock A Tot is just cozy and makes them feel safe.

  24. I worked at Kohls for a couple of years and Lauren Conrad thinking she is her own customer base pretty much sums up her whole brand.

  25. Wonderful review Kackie! Thank you so much yet again for your unbiased review of products! Also, thank you for illuminating the pandering . I will not be purchasing this brand because I don't like when people pander to me, a dark skinned individual, with shades that are clearly not made for me.

I was terrified about not getting sleep with a newborn and saw a few recommendations for the book "Moms on call". Best baby book out there, I highly recommend for any new parent. I followed their guidelines and my son has slept through the night since he was 3 months old.

  27. Yeah, that's what I thought about the limited colours for different skin tones. That's the reason why Rihanna is so successful with Fenty Beauty, she has reached a diverse audience with her products.

  28. I sort of disagree with this. Basic white girl yet I’m extremely fair complected and I can’t ever find a shade match fair enough for me! Nothing ever is light enough for me everything is so dark on my skin😣

  29. What eyeshadow brush are you using in your crease?

  30. I just found her line and I am excited that it’s all VEGAN!!! That’s my number one criteria and I’m sold!!

  31. Going to give the blush a shot at 40% off

  32. When I seen the supposed PEACH shade of blush I was like SAY WHAT but hey I’m a BLUSH fanatic and at 40% off and loving the shade I got the PEACH blush lmao

  33. It's August 20th, 2021, just checked the website and the bronzer is back… with that single shade. Lauren Conrad reminds me of the popular girls in high school who were too cool to talk to me, and her line of makeup just contributes to that image. Not a fan.
