  1. I think the Phelan, Geoff & Yasmeen, & Bethany storylines were really effective 🤷🏼‍♀️ Phelan was played by an excellent actor and was a great villain. Geoff was so creepy and this I think is an incredibly important topic to explore on a soap because a soap can very effectively replicate the experience of gradual escalation of psychological/emotional abuse. Child grooming & human trafficking are insidious every day things too and need this kind of awareness and exposure. It's important for the topics to be explored with a lot of research and sensitivity to real life victims but just because it's disturbing doesn't mean it doesn't belong in a soap

  2. The pet chicken was funny as fucking Larry 🤣😂🤣

  3. Watchmojo is worse than the sun for toxic opinionated bullshit coz they sit on their asses looking down their snotty noses

  4. Do EastEnders!

    I so agree

  6. It’s acting mate

  7. It's not too far at all. They're bringing awareness to things that happen to hundreds if not thousands of people everyday. Props to them.

  8. Gemma putting the baby in the washing machine terrified me

  9. I strongly disagree with the title as they are top 10 most heavy storylines instead of Top 10 Times Coronation Street Went Too Far as all are unfortunately realistic

  10. 1 Hollyoaks
    2 Eastenders
    3 Emmerdale
    4 Corrie

  11. Carlas rape should 1000% be on here! She acted it sensationally

  12. These are to raise awareness to real life situations, they need to push the boundaries to show that shocking things like that are happening in real life, this whole video is a waste of time.

  13. Weird thing about Geoff feeding Yasmeen the chicken – There was a scene 2-3 weeks earlier where they had another couple round for dinner (potentially Brian and Cathy but I don't remember) and Geoff actually served a chicken and implied to Yasmeen that it was her pet chicken, stating "Well you said she was getting a bit old!" Yasmeen then replied in a slightly disgruntled and minorly put out voice "I didn't mean you could cook her…" just as though she'd been slightly inconvenienced by the idea…Yet when he did it for real a few weeks later, her reaction was completely different.

I guess one explanation could be that they had company the first time but still, I just found her two reactions to the same scenario just weeks apart very strange.

  14. It was Billy's brother that gave him the Heroin in church.

    The goat TV show

  17. It’s not too far it’s plot twists and storylines that make people more aware of things. Most of the content is based on real life stories.

  18. What about Richard hillman

  19. I wouldnt say the tram crash was a far cry from the early days, since a train crash also happened in said early days

  20. It is pronounced "Candeese".

  21. The storyline with Andy went way too far. It bordered on torturous and felt very dark to me.

  22. Went too far?? Omg this is a title for Hollyoaks

  23. What about Alan Bradley? His criminal actions long list of criminal actions included rape and fraud, but they got the better of him when he went to Blackpool in search of Rita, only to chase her across the road and be run over by a tram. Blackpool Tramways even put a tram stop at the location where he was run over.

  24. I have never been able to sit through a single episode of this Corrie crap, because the show feels so old-fashioned, the theme music with the brass band is horrible to me, the setting is not my cup of tea (Northern England) and most of all, because when Corrie TRIES to be as edgy as EastEnders (which I love) as shown here, the main viewership of old-age pensioners and PRUDES just moan too much because it's not the "pub gossip" show they love anymore. FUCK CORONATION STREET!!!

  25. Wait Tracy tried to rape Roy wtf

  26. I normally like the WatchMojo lists but this I completly disagree with.

  27. What about Joe McIntyres death, surely that went too far.
Geoff and Yasmin story was spot on as was Bethany’s as they can happen in real life.
What did you want them to do for the 50th anniversary have a party and get all the cast talking? Wise up great week.
Next you will make a new updated video with Seb’s murder and that went too far. No it didn’t

  28. The actor of Nathan said he felt uncomfortable with playing that role. Poor guy

  29. "You may remember Jason as the husband of Sarah Platt."
What are you on about, knobhead? We remember him as Jason more than anyones husband.
Why don't you announce every character as somebodys partner?

  30. The John Stape storyline was ridiculous! As if the community would embrace him again after he kidnapped Rosie the first time.

  31. Bethany's grooming storyline wasn't a trendsetter. EastEnders depicted Whitney's grooming in 2011.
