In celebration of our exclusive Biba archive collection, audio visual artist DJ Cheeba created a 15 minute live VJ set inspired by the Biba brand and it’s prominent place in swinging 60’s London.
The piece combines music from the era, mixed to archive film footage of Biba and the culture that surrounded the brand, its founder Barbara Hulanicki, scenes from London and the infamous Carnaby Street at that time. It’s a multi-media playlist to get you in the mood for Biba’s 50th Anniversary, and an opportunity for those who experienced it first hand, as well as new fans to take a nostalgic trip ‘Back to Biba’.
