2021 has been a tricky year so far for life/motivation and feeling good – not to mention work and relationships. Getting up and getting dressed each day has really helped me, and I’ve discovered 5 LUXURY BASICS that are actually WEARABLE in these times. We aren’t going out anywhere noteworthy, but for our walks, errands and supermarket trips – it’s still nice to feel-good in our outfit (albeit more casual than we’re used).

When I bought my patent mini Lady Dior a few months ago (yaaaaay <3), my SA gave me some really interesting advice about styling it… he said that styling a glitzy bag and shoes with streetwear type items (oversized hoodies, etc.) was becoming really in style. I was skeptical, but I tried it out and loved, loved, LOVED the look of it! I'm not usually one to follow trends, but I rather like this one and I think I'll keep it around my repertoire! Just something to consider if you want to pull your formal bags out a bit more 🙂

Hi Sophie! I have a question for you. I’m asking you because I know you own a lot of these 2 brands. But I wanted to know which brand you prefer, Dior or Chanel? I have some Chanel but I’m very interested in adding a Lady Dior in the medium size(more functional for my lifestyle). I do like this style on you, and it is also more wearable on an average day too. I'm trying to replace some of my clothes by newer items made from better quality materials and – as much as possible – by French brands or at least made in Europe. So much time, energy and money to change my habits argh

I may have everything that you mentioned and been wearing when I go out to shop for necessities. It’s not the exact ones (brand wise) but style yes. I’m so happy I feel like we think alike 😃.
Question: since you’ve mentioned you’re using most of your handbags, how do you take care of them like do you use any leather conditioner or something similar? I remember you have mentioned a brand from one of your videos before I just couldn’t find it. I recently bought the LV multi pochette and been wearing them when I go out shopping but I feel like I need to use something to protect it and sanitize it after I use.

I have been finding that in the past year I have rediscovered my ballet flats and loafers and haven’t worn heels at all as we were in lockdown all winter.
