Today I’m taking a look at Awake NY and Asics second collaboration around, this time on the Asics Gel Preleus. With its grey leopard print and popping colors it is a little louder and more daring than their first work on the Asics Gel Kayano 5 360 but by no means any little less interesting.
The theme has been inspired by Awake founder Angelo Baque’s various travels and includes nods to their home base New York City, but also inspiration from Paris and Tokyo are found within. But rather than celebrated individually as on the last release, this time each is connected via one cohesive colorway.

i like the upper and the hits on color throughout the sneaker. think they did a great job i remember the pair from last year . it's cool to see them use a different silhouette and make it work in similar but different vibes . ✊🙏

Right away box is cool and colours of trainers are a bit different from usual stuff – but exciting and stands out. Yeah I rate colourway. 👍
I'll be honest I'm unsure if I would actually buy them myself but I do think they have an appeal about them almost like a work of art with the whole shape, design and colours. They're just so unusual and interesting to look at. 👍
I've had asics before – extremely comfortable – I found go go half a size down like nb, s. A very unique and funky collab/trainer. Maybe too much for me. Still like them tho. Good video and respect as always. 🎅👌👍

First time I seen this shoe was in your video 3 weeks ago. Since then I managed to get a pair for €80 + €15 delivery. Love them. Hard core retro. I think they look like art deco or art nouveau, not sure which is which. The only thing I would say is do not size up. I'm normally Asics 46 and these feel kinda big which is a bit of a surprise, but they are fine.

My pair is coming today from DSM(Singapore) and surprisingly they are running on sale for SGD70 which is about US$52. Gonna swap out for green lace on mine; saw some photos with it … gives a great contrasting pop to the 👟.

Thanks for the review , i ordered a pair 3 days ago and just received them today {on-sale 50% off} in size 11.5 …Note: do yourself a favor switch the laces to green {green laces give the shoes some pop but very subtle … IMO they look "Stunning" with green laces
My size is US 9 so should I go for us 8 or should go for us 9 only ? Does it run true size ? I heard it’s run 1 size big
