Let me elaborate. Farfetch is only a sales platform for concept stores. Not to say that Farfetch doesn't own any stock, but the majority of the products you find on Farfetch are held in stock by 3rd party. To put it simply – Farfetch is like Amazon but for luxury fashion goods. That also means that Farfetch is charging commission which is 25%! Now, with that in mind – you are better off finding a medium-size concept stores in Italy and looking up their own online store. The prices there will be much better, besides you can negotiate the prices, by just giving them a call. You can also use schemes to reduce the price even further by the amount of local VAT (which is between 19 – 21% depending of the country here in EU), buy buying the goods as a company or routing the goods via tax-free country such as HongKong.
