The slit dress is a no. I don't think it flattered you and you looked distinctly uncomfortable in it. It seemed just a bit too small and too tight for your more refined general style.
Keep the dress for dating with Dan, it looks sexy (Tho might not wear it a lot going out for other events) you know, “relationship building” dress 🙈

I think you should keep the black dress and flaunt your lovely shape. What we wear on holiday is often a little more daring than at home. And if Dan loves it then you should keep it. If you still feel uncomfortable when you get home you can just sew up the little gap.
Return the dress – your style is elegant, that dress is not elegant. I think it’s a bit try hard actually and I don’t think you’ll end up wearing it even if you sew up the slit.
Great haul! The slit is a bit much for me TBH. And given you are not sure about it, I’d say it is too much for you as well! Better not keep a dress that you’ll feel uncomfortable wearing.
While the black dress looks great on you (and I can see why Dan loves it!) the last tie on the bottom reminds me of a garter belt peeking out, which ruins the elegant vibe for me.

Love the pieces you got! I 😍 would keep the black and white dot dress, it’s stunning on you and looks really fancy, but I’d sow the peekaboo part up, just the highest bit. My husband is the same, loves more revealing dresses, but I’m just not too comfortable wearing them 😉

While the black dress fits you beautifully, I feel like the ties are a bit much. You have so many similar fitting dresses and skirts that if you don't love it now, you won't wear it. Return it and order the navy pullover from Lululemon instead.

I’m tall and am always looking for long enough tops to wear with my Align leggings. Is the black long sleeve shirt that you are wearing with the wunder puff vest (which looks dreamy and comfortable🥰) from Lululemon too? Would you be able to provide the details?
The dress is beautiful and you look fantastic in it, but I feel the slit is too much especially when you sit down in a restaurant for example. Perhaps a tailor could adjust the slit so it isn't so high?
Hi Amie, gutted about that ysl bag, I considered that one but haven’t seen it in person yet, I’m putt off by the shape of the chains but there is a tote version with a centre clasp bit with the same diamond pattern but is prob also the same really soft leather that will scratch easily.
No to the dress, it shows off your figure beautifully but don’t keep an item that you have to adjust/amend in a way to make it comfortable for use. Because you just won’t use it. And it’s extra money to force something to work for you/wardrobe.
For the dress in question – you should keep it! It looks absolutely stunning on you. I would probably be a little unsure with a slit that high as well, but you only live once and it's such a beautiful dress!

That dress with the peekaboo is adorable on you! It's a vacation dress and completely appropriate in that way. And from a woman who just turned 60, I definitely recommend going for something like this while you're young enough to carry it off.

Staying practical and being comfortable about the dress you wear is Key.
If it makes you feel even a wee bit uneasy… Would recommend returning it else it will be a forgotten closet item.

The slit dress is very beautiful but I wouldn't dream of sewing the top part closed. I think you'll find that it will look "wrong." Because of your doubts I would recommend sending it back or you won't get much wear out of it!

hmm you look AMAZING but I'm not a fan of the style of the dress. The last tie kind of looks like you have a gun hidden there like james bond or tomb raider haha since it's for a holiday, it would probably look really good
The split dress is showing too much flesh in my opinion. Your other dresses are better. Only personal opinion

The black dress looks gorgeous on you. I would suggest pairing it with dressy flats/sandals. Heels would make it too sexy, overkill. Also, maybe wear your hair in a low ponytail or plait. Basically just cool off the hotness hehe… But that's just my opinion. : )

They are all stunning as usual. As you have doubts about the dress with the side split I would return it. It is very low cut in the front and has the cut outs on the back of the top half. Either those or the long side split on their own would look very elegant, but both together? No, I feel that is too much skin in one outfit and you are also not feeling completely comfortable in it.
