  1. They are losing money hand over fist.

What do you think they are compounding?

  2. Thanks for sharing. Have a great Sunday.

  3. I notice they have been diluting shares a bit in the last 3 years, assuming this continues does this mean our investment would not double (unlike market cap) or does your valuation account for some dilution? I'm learning lots from your channel. I'm a relatively new investor, channels that actually show their working out and thought processes are in the minority. This company seems like it could have a massive runway.

  4. Good Research, looks promising

  5. You have a typo in the title of this video "fareftch"

    Great underwriting spreadsheet

  6. Thanks, been long for a while. Tough ride this year but will rise soon.

  7. As someone who is very into fashion, I can say that there are some things you mentioned which are wrong. For example, when it comes to delivery time, it all depends on where the specific boutique which the product comes from is located. And that may be anywhere from Italy to the U.S. Therefore, delivery times may be very different. In addition, there are a lot of other luxury fashion stores that offer just as quick, if not quicker delivery times, such as SSENSE. They deliver to all of Europe from Canada, in 2-3 business days.

Furthermore, I believe a lot of consumers will move on from Farfetch to other stores, as the prices at Farfetch are almost never among the cheapest. You could literally just buy directly from the boutique itself, for a fraction of the price. I used to shop from Farfetch back in 2018 because they were the biggest fashion supplier. However, I stopped when I realized their prices are not competitive at all. In addition, it is very tiring to look through 10s of pages, just to find the right piece. Their selection is very large, but that comes with a drawback. It is not curated well, compared to many of their competitors. And I also want to mention that nowadays, it is a lot easier for a consumer to find the cheapest price of a clothing piece. They could do this through websites such as LYST, which scans 100s of different stores for the cheapest price.

I honestly don't think it's effective for smaller brands to market through farfetch, as Farfetch already offers thousands upon 10's of thousands of pieces, and nobody is going to look through all of their selections. Many fashion labels have started selling almost exclusively through their website instead, and it works wonders, as marketing has become a lot simpler than before. People don't go to fashion stores to look for new brands anymore. Instead, they browse through Instagram, YouTube, to see what influencers or celebrities are wearing.

Lastly, I believe it's important to note that pretty much every fashion label that farfetch owns, is very seasonal. Brands such as Off White and Palm Angels were very popular for a short time, but are quickly dying. Eventually, in 2 years from now, I believe these labels will struggle a lot. Fashion is very seasonal, and these brands will not be able to remain, such as fashion houses like Gucci or Louis Vuitton.

  8. I like the video, will put it on the watchlist! A UK e commerce company with great growth, strong gross margins, founder led etc that is worth a look at is The Hut Group. 60 % of revenue is international and I think it is somewhat under wall streets radar

  9. Very nice video, thanks!

  10. WELCOME TRENDING TOP THIS YEAR

  11. Have you come across YSG, a relatively new Chinese company IPO. They operate in the consumer goods (cosmetics) sector and e-commerce with some large institutions backers (Hillhouse, Tiger etc). Looking like a good value play these days. Would like to hear your thoughts, and projections. Thank you

  12. Totally underrated stock. I want to buy in but I feel like I may have missed the boat back in 2019/2020 and would hate for it to pull back to those levels.. especially with all the impending overall market doom everyone keeps talking about. Definitely one of my highest conviction companies. The experience is seamless and lets retailers from all over the world sell their products more easily. Someone said pricing was an issue, but I disagree. A jacket I purchased was significantly cheaper on the retailer's personal site, but, in my case, their site was excluding import duties which would have been massive. So it probably ended up being about the same but I gained peace of mind. Their target audience will appreciate it for what it is.. easy interface, large selection, occasional unique items, and peace of mind! If anything, fashion is moving away from the Guccis and Louis Vuittons of the world. So many smaller high end brands have generated cult followings (Rick Owens cultist here..). As an aside, I think Farfetch could benefit immensely from adding Affirm's pay over time service as a checkout option. They don't really have any payment options. At least make a Farfetch rewards credit card!

  13. Why do you have Druckenmiller in your thumbnail? Why does your title contradict the conclusion?

Have to give a thumbs down because of title-conclusion contradiction alone. It also seems like you're holding out on your findings to encourage people onto your Patreon like some cheap fat-loss newsletter trick. Also, the analysis doesn't seem very balanced. You're positive on just about everything you mentioned but fail to refer to the sharp drop in the share price. Why is it happening? How much lower do you think it can go before the drop is unwarranted? Which stocks are you comparing it to? Are all these conclusions hidden just for your Patreon subscribers?

Be more clear in your conclusions and avoid click-baity tricks like putting famous investors in your thumbnail with no explanation. It seems as though Duquesne Capital actually added some shares back in June, which is quite interesting. Why couldn't you just mention that in your video if you're going through the trouble of putting Druckenmiller in the thumbnail?

This is YouTube, people like to get value for free. It's fine to say you have a Patreon for extra content, but it seems like you're holding back a lot to get paid subscribers. Such a shame because it seems like you did quite a bit of work only to get less than 4k views.

  14. Hey, what do you think about Stitch Fix

  15. Hey great video, i just think 20% EBIDTA Margin is very optimistic and therefor the valuation is quite high

  16. if all is that great why does the share tanks last months ? i bought today for Q4 ……?

  17. underrated …. they GOT PWND

  18. Did you buy this in the end?
