I purchased a pair of sneakers through StockX and when the sneakers arrived, I found it was missing accessories that should’ve come in the box. After a series of back and forth, StockX told me “they still considered that sneaker brand new/DS in their view….!!!
I then asked if I could sell that ‘exact sneaker as received’ through StockX in the future. They said no!
So if I’m ever going to sell this sneaker, I’m going to have to sell it as a non DS pair and lose significant money.
Sadly StockX had also previously sent me another pair of sneakers that was missing additional laces. In that case I was never worried as I was never going to use the missing laces and I had no intention of ever selling that shoe. I’d never even raised that problem with StockX, so at the time I had little idea StockX lacked integrity and had such a vile approach to accepting responsibility.
I’ve since investigated what happens when other customers come across issues with their purchases at StockX and it clearly seems StockX’ go to’ response for any problem is to NEVER ADMIT FAULT. “Buyer Beware” when it comes to StockX and I advise viewers to watch the numerous YouTube videos before purchasing!
