Hi, anytime something from overseas is more than a $1000, there is a customs fee. Most shops add it on to the price, but it’s still paid.

Every country's Customs has a limit on the amount of goods you can get duty free. So in one country you can get goods valued at $500 and below duty free but another might be a $100 limit. But most websites let you know that you may incur customs duties and taxes if you live internationally.
That's weird because I've been ordering from them, clothes (a lot)and bags(12 colors 2 different styles ) so far no customs fee.

Girl. I love the blue bag & shoes. If Jacquemus company pulling the sh*t with me. I would have differently sent both those bags back!! How they going to no inform that you was going to have to pay an additional fee of $156 when you package Arrived at your house. They should have told you and the web site should state that customers have to pay a custom fee
The material on the blue bag is very easy to scratch. It’s like a mixture between suede & leather. I know Jacquemus is not LV, Chanel, Gucci and etc but it’s still luxury or marketable as luxury. They should of done better.
Also I thought custom fees were only in UK not USA ?! Lol shit

I purchased a a Jacquemus bag from SSENSE and it was packaged the exact same manner. I guess that's all their boutiques provide.

That’s crazy you had to pay customs that much. I had purchased 3 items from their website and the recent one I ordered, I was charged $ 3.00 for customs. I live in California.
Lol, I'm late watching this, but sis you gotta break them orders up when shopping overseas. It's tedious, but if you would've done multiple orders, all under $800 so $799, you wouldn't have been charged. $799 under, no customs. $800, customs.
