DO LUXURY YOUTUBERS ENJOY THE HAULS? IS IT EVER GONNA BE ENOUGH? I'M BAGGED OUT PART 2!

#luxpurselove

Do you think that luxury YouTubers enjoy all the items they get at once in a big haul? I share the answer to how I feel when I do a haul. I did a poll on both instagram and YouTube asking if people were over hauls or loved them. Loved them won by a landslide, told ya!!!! 😉

  1. Your garden sounds amazing! Please share photos of the garden or show us the veggies from your garden if you are comfortable with that. Gardens are so satisfying. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I understand what you mean because you can only acquire so much before feeling overwhelmed. I can't believe how low some Youtubers can be speaking about other Youtubers. I didn't even know others did videos on your birthday haul last year. Beautiful birthday bracelet! xx

First of all you look amazing with your hair up! That necklace is absolutely stunning 🤩 loved the story behind it! It’s when things have a story behind it that makes them special, not how much they cost!
I recently passed on your advice “gold over leather” to a friend and she was so thankful! It’s a great way to look at it and I turned to jewellery when we were all at home… I can wear jewellery all day around the house, unlike a bag.
Lastly, you are one of the sweetest people here on the luxury community, truly inspiring!

  3. Love the outfit and hair. You’re looking very cute!

  4. Hi Melinda ❤❤❤

  5. Melinda, thank you for your honesty and transparency! Beautiful bracelet!

  6. That’s wonderful! I would love to get into gardening one day. Thank you for sharing .

  7. Hi Melinda, I have a question about tipping your SA, is this something you should do and if so how much is customary?

  8. I am definitely at purse peace. I still look at things and admire them, but the constant unboxing videos got to be too much. I have been focusing on my mental health and experiences lately which is awesome. Just exploring different things but I am still a shopaholic. It just might not be bags that I’m shopping for.

I can't BELIEVE anyone would be crass enough to ask if you are "broke!" People really think they can type anything they want. I'm with you about HRH; she's just so over the top. I saw someone voice the opinion that this was supposed to be satire, but I'm not sure. Not my cup of tea. You are great, though! Love your hair back!

  10. Cheese dip on your lambskin. lol. Thanks for this thoughtful video! <3

  11. No need to justify who bought what. You’re married. A mother and a wife. I’m not sure if you work outside of the home, but homemaking is a valid and commendable job. Maybe if that woman wasn’t so bitter and negative she could find a good man who wants to show his love and appreciation through gifts, if that’s what she desires.

What a great vlog!! I started following you because of your enthusiasm and happiness regarding the items you have chosen: there are other YouTubers who just seem to buy things for the sake of it. I think what you said about you and your husband being in a place where everything and everyone your love was taken care of, so you could start spending a little money on luxuries is spot-on. I’ll continue to watch your content because of your personality, not because of what you are buying 😘

Thank you for this video ❤️ I completely agree with you

  14. Really great video

  15. Melinda, you always inspire me to bring back some of my jewelry and start wearing it. My husband bought me the Tiffany platinum diamond tennis bracelet for my wedding anniversary 10 years ago and I’m always so nervous to wear it but I only wear it on rare occasions. Watching you with your new tennis bracelet, I decided to pull mine out and leave it on my wrist life is too short thank you for the inspiration!

  16. OMG I wish you would have mentioned H** …..terrible… New subscriber and love your channel,

  17. Shopping is not enjoyable anymore. You have to chase down everything, especially with Chanel. The rules keep getting ridiculous along with the prices. Legitimate people are predicting a recession in the very near future. I wonder how that will affect luxury shopping for all of us. We would be wise to start letting up now.

  18. Would love to see gardening content 👩🏼‍🌾💕

  19. This was really good. I enjoy unboxings to a point but I enjoy reviews much more. I like to know how that bag or this piece of jewellery or clothing is going after one year, or five or even twenty. That is just so helpful to know. I can’t imagine how the YouTubers who unbox five bags every week can possibly enjoy or use them either. It’s silly and I don’t watch those channels for long. I much prefer to watch people who are more relatable and down to earth like you are.
Your hair looks lovely in this video.

  20. I love how down to earth and introspective you are about these things. People matter, love matters, life matters, "stuff" doesn't matter. I started buying bags over 20 years ago, and this week I was cleaning my closet and conditioning all my bags and was floored by the sheer amount of luxury handbags I own. I also love jewelry and have always had good quality pieces starting from when I was young (thanks Mom!) and am happy to stick to those. Thanks for the thoughtful content.

  21. I was raised with the exact same mindset– just because you can, doesn't mean you SHOULD. I am raising my own children the same way. Thank you for the laugh, I had never heard of HRH and after you mentioned her I searched her….WHOA. That lady is either mentally unstable or its all an act.

  22. I don’t understand how people watch these videos and are so negative. Just enjoy them. It’s entertainment and sometimes informative. Im never jealous of others I’m actually happy for them. That’s why I don’t post because of individuals who like to bully others

  23. Hi Melinda! Thank you for this video. You really opened up my eyes, I have bought so many bags that it got to a point I can’t even enjoy them anymore. I even have many with tickets still on them. I have bags I haven’t used because I just don’t have places to use them. I took a few of them and packed them up to return back to the store. I’m feeling exactly like you I just don’t feel like shopping or I just can’t enjoy them. I’ve decided to enjoy what I already have. Thank you cause you really opened up my eyes. Honestly I feel so good 😊 thank you dear! ❤️

  24. Hi Melinda. Great video. I just came back from a solo trip and it was one of the best experiences ever. I was planning on going to Chanel after coming back and trying to buy a bag but i decided not to. I thought to myself I’d much rather spend the money on a great travel experience than on a bag. This trip will stay with me forever. I’ll continue to think about it but a bag is just an object. I don’t need to buy another one. I love what i have and that’s it.. just imagining how many trips I can go on for that 5k bag that I was eyeing. Now my last trip was a pricey one but i if I go on other trips can you imagine how many I could take for 5k. So many new memories. I haven’t watched unboxings though I enjoy them but it’s not the same for me anymore.

  25. I can’t wait to see what you do next. I think you are so lovely and I really enjoy watching your videos 😘

  26. I very much agree with what you’re saying here. I get fatigued just watching the big hauls and it’s generally easy to see that the unboxer feels the same way. It’s a bit like spoiled children on Christmas eve.
I would be interested in seeing more collection videos. As in what do you regard as your «core» bags. Which ones do you use for travel, for casual occasions, formal occasions, parties etc.

    amazing video♥️♥️♥️

  28. I agree. As much as I love watching the beautiful purses… most of which I’ll never have 😂. Some of the constant unboxings of Chanel. Chanel. Birkins Kelly. More Chanel Dior etc every week Is just so excessive!!!! Also. Your Diamond bracelet is absolutely STUNNING!!! ❤

I am feeling the same way and allowing myself to appreciate without purchasing. Because it is a habit for me I do indulge in online window shopping at times but am able to redirect my energy and focus on other things I enjoy too. Thanks for the video. I still watch unboxing but enjoy other videos too.

  30. I love your honesty. I feel the same, YT videos with many many bags and don’t wear them? Crazy shopping at Hermès/Chanel, not realistic, I don’t feel that emotion anymore. Other people buying for content, we know that, we don’t believe it anymore. I also unfollowed people saying they were not buying more, many videos about it but suddenly they start doing huge hauls again? I appreciate congruent honest people better. Sometimes I regret being part of this materialistic society but I do love nice things🙈

  31. I'm with you Melinda! Getting rid of bags and things that I bought and haven't used, etc. Love jewelry and found myself purchasing pieces I've wanted now. I'm planning to buy one more LV bag and then I'm going to enjoy what I've got.😉💖🛍

  32. Thank you for your response Melinda! I enjoyed watching this video!

  33. I'm very happy to come across your channel randomly. I agree with your stand point and you are very wise <3

  34. Gorgeous bracelet!!!😍🥰
You shared so MUCH in this video, I Honestly don't know what to say or where to begin. It's overwhelming hun to buy and buy…unless you're getting rid of most of what you buy instantly. But, with that, I would question this YTber as an influencer if they are not completely honest with what is shared. I know how it feels to have so many things at once…It can be overwhelming when they are at the price point I'm able to pay. Now, I Love a Wonderful Haul, one that is real and you know the person genuinely love and will use all they purchase. But, I truly Miss the old style Luxury YT videos….so informative. I don't do well with the bullies…Dear GOD….What a mess.😭😭😭😭Happy to hear you know how to handle them…I REALLY Loved that part. I'm here for whatever you share. Stay Strong.🥰🌷🌺🌼

  35. It's an addiction. Shopping is an addiction and watching YouTube is an addiction. HRH has a gimmick and people love her. I honestly think it's an act. Anyway, I had a handful of luxury bags that were purchased over the past 3-4 years and then I started watching youtube about a year or two ago and that's when it became a bi monthly to monthly spending. Then I decided to create a channel and now I look for content. That is absolutely the OPPOSITE of what my purchases should be. With that being said, I too would like to step back a bit. I also did not have my first luxury bag until I was about 40. It was an LV as well. It was about my boys too. We seemed to have followed the same road:)

  36. I love bags, but now with my collection I have to really plan out what I want or need. I actually sold a ysl wallet on chain that was a dream bag, and turned it in to 4 pre loved bags that I can functionally use. I find that what I am attracted too may not be useful. I am trying to shop my closet and appreciate the bag I have, I do switch out 3 times a week to give my others bags time. I would love a video on what bag your using and how it works in your life not just style. I like nice things but sometimes I am afraid to use or alter them becasue of precieved value. I have a longchamp I want to put a patch on but them I am like does that ruin the bag? It's a brand new bag and I want to iron a 10 dollar Disney patch. Do you ever modify your bags?

  37. Completely agree about not buying more than one bag at a time. I've only done that once, one I loved and the other sat on my shelf unloved for months. Same goes for small weather goods which I much prefer to handbags. It's funny what you're saying about multiple unboxing, I watch Charis's channel and she's lovely and her videos are always great but I can't believe how many bags she gets and how she finds time to use them. I do often wonder if the people who have huge collections fund their bags from their unboxing vidoes and its a circle. I'm not complaining because it's great eye candy.😁
