I've watched videos on a person who restored vintage/antique Louis Vuitton luggage/trunks and the time and care needed and taken to just carefully remove the branded tacks and hardware to work on the pieces. The price tag also reflects not only the name but the extensive time and craftsmanship in the items not to mention the materials as well.
I find the size perfect for traveling; bigger than a regular purse but smaller than a carry-on luggage 👍
