I am not trying to loose weight since my weight is about right with my height (abt 48kg, 5ft 3) but i does have emotional eating habits which lead me to have sweet tooth. Of late after my medical check up, i do have some rise in my sugar level and am trying to cut these down. Will really try on your advise for drinking as much water instead of sugary drink. Yeah no bad food but is how we control our eating and by eating moderately. I do exercise which does helps and yeah have my Fitbit to monitor my movement, drinking of water and sleeping too. These two weeks lacking of exercise since i am not well but hope to get back soon. Yeah, do go ahead to celebrate your husband's B'day. The 40th B''day dont come always. Thanks for sharing. He isn’t like my husband then, that charger and it’s wire would have found it’s way into his wire box. Wires for everything, we have wires that we don’t even have the machines for anymore 😂
I loss my father in 2018 too I to gained weight 60lbs to be exact two weeks later I was fired from my job that I was at for 10 years. I’m currently loosing weight but it’s a very slow process. Thanks for sharing 😊

Hello love your video as always ! I know this is about diet, I have found it interesting your journey, but I am wondering having just gotten a puppy myself, I read it is not a good idea to get two pups from the same litter at the same time they keep mentioning litter mate syndrome in the Facebook groups I am in. Perhaps it is different for you as you have 2 dogs already? Keep up the great work – you are one of my favourite you tubers ! much love
I lost 5lbs easily by not eating until 1-2pm and no carbohydrates on 1 meal each day. Using fruits in my salads and NO sugar in my coffee help with modifying my taste buds. The craving for desserts makes it very difficult though.
Thanks Amelia for sharing this. I’m a guy and I was always thin (in fact I was underweight for no obvious reasons in my teen) but the Durty Thirties got me. I’ve put on weight over lockdown and I’ve no idea how to eat better because until 28 or so I didn’t have to worry. I know that sounds like a non-problem but my first instinct admittedly was to look at diets but thanks for helping me to think about healthier behavioural focused programmes
I across the pond from you and waiting for my first delivery of Sprinly. I’ve done raw in the past and loved it. But making me food and then separate for my hubby got to be a pain. Now I only have to make for him and then I can sit back and enjoy something that was made for me. So I’ll join you in this journey! We can do it!
You might want to stop using a plastic bottle for water, due to the chemical.
I use a glass pasta sauce container and make ice tea and ice coffee with no sugar.

This is where I have a massive problem with these healthy eating/weight loss gurus. Money. We all know the secret and don’t need these preachers telling us what to do. The secret. Eat double/treble the amount you eat only in healthy vegetables and lean meat. Intermittent fasting up to 15 hours and if you need to tone up exercise. If you’re an emotional eater go see a psychologist. Doesn’t matter who you PAY to guide/help you , they don’t go to bed with you each night , when you are starving mentally or struggling emotionally. I’m not having a go. Just speaking from experience. I’ve did it all , even getting botched surgery to remove excess skin . PTSD , regained weight , suicide , no mirrors as I said I’ve done it all. I do help a lot of people but I have a tough love approach , I hope this company helps you I really do. Maybe I’m just cynical now and I don’t listen to anyone who hasn’t BEEN there x. Sending hugs Amelia. If you want to pick my brains I’m here . Sorry for being harsh at times but if you can help people with what is technically a mental illness why the need to charge money for it.

Your makeup with your hair up is stunning today! My problem with weight is age… in my forties I weighed 140 … I have added weight as I age because I do not eat enough to keep my metabolism going!
Thank you for sharing your journey. I am also a comfort eater and when I'm stressed or depressed I hide in my house, don't leave and just eat. This last few years have not been good for me and I've gone up two dress sizes so I've decided enough is enough. At this moment I've just started yoga, walks and cut the chocolate. It's not easy but it's a start. When ever I crave some sweets I go for some pineapple and blueberries as I love these fruits

You really can eat anything; it's really about the CALORIES coming in vs expenditure

One more thing: I think it's so important to develop the "wonderful positive lifestyle change"
I've always used math to lose a certain amount of weight
One pound = 3500 calories
To burn that pound, it's best through calorie expenditure through workouts and eating less . But in a healthy range!
Also, weight training is AMAZING.. It shapes the body and it's very motivating when you start seeing muscles start to grow (i.e. biceps, triceps, etc ..)
& One pound of muscle takes up ONE THIRD the amount of one pound of fat
That's why two women can be the same height/weight .. But the one who has muscle will look smaller
I have a full gym that's huge and ya, I'm excited to start my fitness channel; but I'll still keep my current one… Of course I have a passion for bags! Hehe

I’m an emotional eater. It has also gotten worse since my dad passed in 2018 and a caregiver to my mom, married, 17 year old, and menopause. I never had a weight issue. I don’t recognize my body. I’m considering of these programs. I’m also shy so I would prefer something like this. We got this!!!
So sorry for you losses and kudos to you for trying to switch the approach to food. I tried SN at the end of last year, it did work (I lost 6kg in 3 months) however the food portions are way too tiny to be sustainable imo and the support is incredibly low touch, the groups also are very big and too varied for me to relate to anyone at all. I stopped it in Jan and in 2 months I put on the exact same weight 😭

Loving seeing your progress. Same psychology as I’m following with my pt. No foods are bad or good. Don’t restrict yourself and instead focus on how you feel when you’ve eaten certain foods. So I cut down carbs as I tend to feel bloated and if I eat a good balance of veg proteins and little bit of carbs then I have more energy and def feel better through training. One change at a time. No big gestures as they don’t last. Consistency every day. One day of dieting will not result in weight loss and one day of indulging will not result in weight gain. It’s consistently doing one or the other that creates the habit. Loving watching you as inspiration! Remember that there are many little actions to put in place over time which will result in the goals. Enjoy the journey otherwise it’s unsustainable and what happens when you reach the goal? I am now setting many goals for along the way which are not weight related so that I focus on not only my weight. My pt told me the first day we met that my weight is the least important and least interesting thing about me. That resonated.

Keep up the great work 👍. I just saw yesterday 60 minutes Australia on the topic of how much of the Western world eats processed food. They point to both the French and Mediterranean style of eating…and both work really well despite the French cream and butter 😁. Fresh food is KEY to be sure. Thanks for sharing 😊
I followed Noom for a little while, and that is set up the same way. The psychology behind eating is my biggest hurdle that I need to try to work with. And my negative self talk is crippling.
