  20. Now what if the seller doesn't state the import duties (on Amazon specifically) but only shipping fee…does it mean it is free or I will get a surprise and have to pay for import duties to clear my package to come through?

Good day, are all these customs charges based on the purchae price of the product or the value of the product i.e if i buy shoes at a discounted rate from another country meaing that i bought them for R1000 instead of R2000, will the charges charged by customes be on the R2000 (value of the product) or R1000( Discounted rate).
