At FARFETCH, we know the need and advantages of a Data Governance structure, transversal to the entire company. We are looking for ways to integrate the gospel of data transparency, security, quality and metadata management into our ways of working. We know that simply throwing policies and guidelines to our developers and analysts, hoping for the best isn’t enough, so we started the Data Governance team. The Data Governance team was built to create the Governance best practices tailored to Farfetch‘s reality, aligned with business and technical teams’ use cases. It’s an everlasting work-in-progress that aims to turn Farfetch‘s data creators and consumers into Data Governance literate and integrating governance practices into their day to day activities.
