Described as ‘an antidote to the polished slickness of modern retail in the Emirates’, Dubai’s first genuine concept store Mahani aims to bring a new shopping experience to the Middle East. Mahani opened in 2013 and was named after its founder Farah Taqi‘s aunt. The store regularly hosts art exhibitions, fashion talks and trunk shows for a growing and discerning customer base whilst successfully merging a collection of established designers with younger, niche labels from around the world.
